What began as a small rental operation has grown into a full-service provider of equipment rentals, sales, parts, and service, supporting customers across residential, commercial, industrial, and mining applications throughout the region.
Today, Clairemont Equipment is the authorized Komatsu Construction and Mining Equipment dealer for all of Southern California, serving ten counties with dedicated product support, experienced technicians, and a growing network of branch locations.

From the beginning, our business was built around providing dependable equipment, responsive service, and practical solutions to meet real-world jobsite needs. That rental-first mindset shaped our company long before we expanded into heavy equipment sales and continues to influence how we serve customers today.
What started with homeowner and small contractor equipment evolved into a comprehensive fleet supporting contractors, public agencies, and large-scale industrial and mining operations across Southern California. Today, we continue to support our customers rental, sales, service, and parts needs with the same level of care and reliability that built our reputation.

Clairemont Equipment operates six full-service branch locations throughout Southern California, all offering rentals, sales, parts, and service. In Q4 2024, we expanded our footprint with the opening of our Bakersfield, California location, strengthening support for customers in the Central Valley and surrounding regions.
As our territory has grown, so has our commitment to investing in facilities, fleet, systems, and people—ensuring consistent, high-quality product support wherever our customers operate.
